Trade Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Travel Corporation is seeking a Trade Marketing Specialist to lead B2B trade initiatives for its tour brands, including Trafalgar. Based in Auckland with a hybrid work model, you will act as the primary marketing liaison for trade media partners across the region, driving brand visibility and executing multi‑channel campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Manage B2B trade relationships with media accounts, tourism boards, airlines, and advertising partners.
• Coordinate the brand agent network programme and support B2B channel leads.
• Brief, book, and oversee trade media placements across relevant publications and platforms.
• Execute global B2B campaigns across social, digital, print, and in‑store channels.
• Develop and maintain B2B2C toolkits for trade partners, ensuring brand consistency and commercial alignment.
• Plan and deliver B2B trade events from concept through on‑the‑day execution.
• Own regional incentive programmes, including communication strategy and activation.
• Track and report on channel KPIs such as reach, engagement, click‑through, event attendance, and incentive uplift.
• Provide trade channel insights to inform strategic planning.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of marketing experience with a focus on B2B trade or channel marketing.
• Proven ability to manage trade or partner relationships and deliver channel‑specific programmes.
• Experience executing multi‑channel campaigns independently, including events and trade media.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with the capacity to work autonomously.
