Territory Manager - Kellogg's (Waikato)

About the role

Kellogg's is looking for a Territory Manager to lead and grow its Kellogg's portfolio across the Waikato region. The role manages the assigned sales territory and improves sales performance across all chain and independent grocery outlets, maximising the effectiveness of trade promotional spend through compliant and discretionary activity.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise product ranging across chain and independent stores, securing speed to store for new launches and advising on range rationalisation.
• Implement Head Office-approved planograms and Kellogg space management concepts to increase shelf visibility and reduce out-of-stocks.
• Negotiate, secure and execute in-store promotions, maximise incremental displays and analyse promotional effectiveness, especially in independent accounts.
• Submit timely field, expense and monthly focus reports, and provide quarterly territory analysis and market intelligence to the National Field Sales Manager.
• Maintain accurate territory records, use strong time management and planning to find new sales opportunities and maximise regional ROI.
• Present territory results, ideas and growth opportunities in sales meetings.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with internal teams and retail partners.
• Proven track record of achieving objectives, overcoming store-level barriers and influencing key decision-makers.
• Able to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Independent worker who takes full ownership of their territory and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Prior FMCG, retail or allied industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
