Team Leader – Front-End Operations

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Team Leader to manage the Front‑End team at Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale. Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will oversee check‑outs and customer service, ensuring a seamless and friendly experience for our diverse shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Front‑End team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee daily operations of check‑outs and customer service desks.
• Handle customer enquiries, issues and escalations professionally.
• Maintain accuracy in refunds, special orders, Click & Collect and transaction processing.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources during busy periods.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and operational standards.
• Collaborate with the Retail Manager on continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience leading a team in retail, customer service or hospitality.
• Confident, approachable leadership style with strong communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands‑on approach with a focus on coaching and development.
