Team Leader – Fill Team Department

About the role

The Fill Team at Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill keeps the store shelves stocked, manages surplus stock and maintains high presentation standards. As Team Leader you will oversee this busy department, guide daily operations and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and schedule the Fill Team across Tuesday‑Saturday shifts.
• Monitor stock movement, replenish shelves and manage surplus inventory.
• Coordinate with other store departments to support seamless store operations.
• Maintain store presentation standards and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Handle basic administrative tasks such as rostering and training records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading or supervising a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to juggle competing priorities.
• High level of physical fitness for regular lifting, ladder work and standing.

Required skills

• Good computer proficiency with attention to detail.
• Experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Forklift licence (preferred).
