Teacher – Certificate in Study & Employment Skills

About the role

Two Rivers College, a kaupapa Māori tertiary institution, is hiring a Kaiako (teacher) for its Certificate in Study & Employment Skills programme at the Pākihikura campus in Ōpōtiki. The position is 37.5 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 17 December 2027.

Required profile

• A Level 5 qualification or higher, along with adult teaching credentials (or a willingness to obtain them).
• Experience supporting or teaching adult learners in education, training or employment-focused settings.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
• Willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Māori values, culture and tikanga is desirable.

Required skills

• Confidence using digital tools and online learning platforms to support learning.
