Organisational Capability Lead

About the role

A newly established role within a purpose-driven industry training organisation, the Organisational Capability Lead helps people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to deliver on organisational goals through high-quality learning and development. It is a hands-on learning and capability position with flexible working options, based in Wellington, paid $108,000 to $128,000 per year. The recruiter is Beyond Recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify capability and skills gaps across the organisation
• Design and deliver learning programmes, workshops, leadership development and digital learning solutions
• Facilitate training and train-the-trainer programmes
• Develop learning resources, guides, online content and supporting documentation
• Manage and improve internal training resources and learning systems
• Support change initiatives through learning design and capability uplift
• Partner with leaders, project teams and external providers to deliver effective learning outcomes

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in education, organisational psychology, human resources or a related discipline
• Significant experience in learning, organisational development, capability or a similar field
• Experience turning capability needs into effective development solutions
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience developing learning content across multiple delivery channels
• Commitment to inclusive and accessible learning
