Tax & Enterprise Manager – Tax & Legal Services

About the role

We are seeking a Tax & Enterprise Manager to join PwC’s Tax & Legal Services team in Auckland. The role involves delivering tax advisory and compliance engagements for high‑value global clients, leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of tax compliance and advisory projects, applying tax legislation and case‑law interpretation.
• Calculate and review tax balances for financial‑statement reporting.
• Utilise GenAI, digital tools and PwC methodologies to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Coach and support junior team members across advisory and compliance work.
• Develop and maintain trusted client relationships, identifying business‑development opportunities.
• Provide technically robust advice on complex tax matters such as acquisitions, divestments and corporate tax issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years of tax experience in a professional services firm, including preparation and review of complex income tax returns.
• Strong understanding of tax legislation, revenue‑authority practices and financial statements.
• Experience engaging with tax authorities and managing client relationships.
• Comfortable working with AI and digital technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GenAI and other digital tax tools.
