Tax Accountant

About the role

Join a well‑connected specialist tax team within a purpose‑driven organisation that shapes New Zealand’s housing outcomes. You will work in a small, supportive environment, handling both compliance and advisory tax work across a diverse property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge PAYE, GST, FBT, provisional and annual income tax returns.
• Produce internal tax reports and support financial statement preparation.
• Provide tax advice to business units on transactions, business cases and operational decisions.
• Liaise with senior leaders, external advisors and Inland Revenue to ensure accurate and timely filings.
• Maintain compliance calendars and meet all IRD filing deadlines.
