Supply Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner to own supply and production planning for our canned (wet) pet food portfolio. You will ensure customer demand is met through effective production scheduling, inventory optimisation, and close collaboration with manufacturing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply plans that balance demand, inventory targets and manufacturing capacity.
• Partner with our toll manufacturing provider to deliver production plans safely, efficiently and on time.
• Raise and manage manufacturing and material purchase orders to maintain supply continuity.
• Monitor inventory performance, service levels and key planning KPIs such as DIFOT and SLOB, taking proactive actions to improve results.
• Analyse demand changes, production constraints and supply risks, creating practical solutions and contingency plans.
• Build trusted relationships across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Experience, Sales and Finance.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, systems and ways of working.

Required profile

• Organised, commercially minded planner with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communicator and team player with a positive, resilient attitude.

Required skills

• Experience in supply, production or supply‑chain planning within an FMCG or manufacturing setting.
• Strong ERP system experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
