We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our newly renovated kitchen and restaurant at Hapuku Lodge and Treehouses in Kaikoura, New Zealand. The position is a key part of a creative and close‑knit kitchen team delivering fine‑dining experiences that highlight local ingredients. You will work on‑site in an environment that values work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Collaborate with the team to develop dishes that showcase local produce.
• Assist in menu planning using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
