Sociology QA Lead - Remote

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position focuses on leading quality assurance for sociology‑focused AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated sociological content and trainer outputs meet rigorous academic and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated sociology content and trainer work against detailed project rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback to maintain consistency and high quality.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and activate inconsistent workers.
• Maintain documentation of quality guidelines and workflow processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Sociology, Social Sciences, Anthropology or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sociology research, teaching, policy analysis, or related academic work.
• Strong grasp of English for clear written communication.
• Deep understanding of sociological theory, research methods, and ethical considerations.

• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and detect methodological flaws, bias, or inaccurate concepts.
