About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at ANZ, you will help shape the future of digital banking by delivering innovative Open Banking solutions. You will work with modern technologies, micro‑services and APIs while following Agile practices to create scalable, customer‑focused software.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands‑on development, testing and business analysis.
• Accelerate delivery by reducing technical debt and improving platform health.
• Design micro‑service solutions and guide best‑practice adoption across the team.
• Translate business requirements into elegant technical designs together with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineers to evolve architecture and uplift engineering capabilities.
• Automate build, test and deployment pipelines and foster a learning culture.
