About the role
This remote freelance position is aimed at a junior social media professional who will audit and improve the social media strategy of a UK‑based upholstery retailer. The focus is on increasing sales and engagement through data‑driven recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing social media and LinkedIn activities, assessing content quality, engagement, and alignment with business goals.
- Prepare a detailed report highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Propose actionable changes to boost reach, engagement, and conversion rates specific to the furniture and interiors market.
- Present case studies or examples of previous social media audits and strategy optimisation work.
- Recommend ongoing monitoring and performance‑tracking processes, with the possibility of continued collaboration.
Required profile
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably within retail, furniture, or interiors sectors.
- Strong analytical ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Availability for an initial audit and openness to further work.
- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating relevant project experience.
