Snowflake Architect – $220k-$250k + Super (Hybrid, Auckland)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to design and deliver end‑to‑end Snowflake solutions for a global consultancy serving financial services clients. This senior role is hybrid, with 2–3 days on‑site in Auckland.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Snowflake data warehouse solutions across complex, multi‑million‑dollar projects.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to clients and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms and leverage tools such as ETL pipelines, CI/CD, DBT and Airflow.
• Explore how AI can enhance data engineering and analytics workflows.
• Challenge the status quo and drive innovative, high‑impact outcomes.

Required profile

• Progressive mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in hybrid mode and attending on‑site when critical issues arise.
• Proven experience on large‑scale, complex data projects.
