Senior Vendor Business Manager

About the role

Ingram Micro is a leading technology distributor serving the global IT ecosystem, bringing products and services from technology manufacturers and cloud providers to business-to-business customers. The Vendor Business Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the partner ecosystem, owns the end-to-end vendor strategy and relationships, and drives vendor product sales and market share growth across the channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business plan aligned with vendor objectives and Ingram Micro's direction
• Coordinate and run marketing initiatives based on market intelligence and analyse their ROI
• Build and manage partner growth initiatives and enablement programs
• Promote the brand and ecosystem through product ranging, incentives, partner programs and training, using Ingram Micro's service and support capabilities
• Stay current with technologies, solutions and market trends
• Act as product evangelist and link between vendors, sales teams and channel partners
• Track pipeline, sell-out performance and go-to-market activities
• Find opportunities with complementary vendors and adjacent markets
• Set, implement and review pricing strategies, promotions and rebate programs

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in channel sales, vendor management or business development across multiple verticals
• At least one year of field sales or market/business development experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Established reseller and channel partner relationships
• Strong product and solutions knowledge
