Senior Technology Project Manager – Card Schemes Compliance

About the role

The Senior Technology Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of Card Schemes Compliance initiatives across ANZ’s cards ecosystem. This technically complex role sits at the intersection of business compliance and multi‑platform technology change, providing visibility and assurance for quarterly releases and other scheme projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of quarterly Card Schemes Compliance releases across multiple technology domains.
• Coordinate teams, systems, dependencies and priorities as the central point of contact.
• Translate scheme mandates and compliance requirements into sequenced technology delivery plans.
• Maintain portfolio‑level oversight of scheme initiatives, managing risks, dependencies and constraints.
• Contribute to governance and prioritisation forums with fact‑based reporting.
• Provide resourcing oversight and proactively mitigate delivery risks.
• Partner with business, technology and vendors to achieve compliant outcomes quickly.
• Lead or support complex card‑switch and scheme‑related initiatives aligned with the broader portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven expertise delivering technology initiatives within Card Schemes Compliance (Visa and/or Mastercard) in regulated environments.
• Track record of leading complex, cross‑domain change at an enterprise scale.
• Ability to operate at portfolio level, offering clear, fact‑based insights for prioritisation and decision‑making.
• Experience managing multi‑platform technology change across large, regulated organisations.
