Senior Systems Analyst – Workday & HR Systems

About the role

Our Digital team is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to support and develop the Workday ERP system within the HR, People & Safety Applications portfolio. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for Workday, guiding enhancements and ensuring reliable service for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day incident management and support for HR, People and Safety systems.
• Design, test and deliver system enhancements and integrations, managing change and releases.
• Drive problem management to improve system availability and reduce downtime.
• Analyse and document business processes, mapping them to system configurations.
• Mentor junior Systems Analysts and lead meetings or workshops.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Extensive experience configuring and supporting Workday in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR business processes and the ability to translate them into system solutions.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues and managing incidents.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Workday functional configuration, security, reporting and calculated fields.
• Workday integration technologies – EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, XML/XSLT, SFTP.
• Workday Studio.
• Testing, release management and incident/problem management.
• Data interrogation and report generation from databases.
