Amisfield, a newly awarded Michelin‑starred restaurant in Central Otago, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join its acclaimed kitchen team. You will work side‑by‑side with an experienced culinary crew, driving innovation and excellence in every dish.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations and supervise junior staff to maintain Michelin‑star standards.
• Develop and execute innovative menu concepts, overseeing research and development.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency across all service periods.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control while adhering to food safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with health standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior kitchen roles, preferably within fine‑dining or Michelin‑starred establishments.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Passion for creative cuisine and continuous menu innovation.
