Senior Recruiter - Accounting & Finance

About the role

Robert Walters is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join its Finance Recruitment Team in Auckland. You will manage a high‑performing portfolio of senior finance and accounting roles, leveraging strong client relationships and the firm’s global brand.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow a permanent senior finance desk, sourcing and placing top talent across New Zealand.
• Develop and maintain warm relationships with leading employers in the finance sector.
• Collaborate with a specialist finance team and a dedicated manager to meet ambitious billing targets.
• Provide end‑to‑end recruitment services, from candidate sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Track market trends and advise clients on talent strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a recruiter within finance or accounting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
