Senior Manager – Regulatory Delivery

About the role

Rabobank is seeking an experienced regulatory change leader to join its New Zealand team as a Senior Manager – Regulatory Delivery. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s response to key standards under the Deposit Takers Act, strengthening business resilience across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret DTA regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business practices.
• Provide advisory support, gap analysis and risk assessments for prudential domains such as outsourcing, operational resilience, crisis management, OBR readiness and depositor compensation.
• Design and deliver regulatory change initiatives, contributing to roadmaps, implementation planning and prioritisation.
• Uplift frameworks, policies, processes and controls; support testing, change readiness and transition to business‑as‑usual.
• Build trusted relationships with risk, compliance, legal, operations and technology stakeholders; influence senior leaders and programme teams.
• Prepare regulatory and leadership reporting, briefings and responses; manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure high‑quality documentation, support audits and embed sustainable solutions into operating models.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in regulatory change, risk, compliance or policy roles.
• Proven track record delivering complex regulatory programmes within a large organisation.
• Strong strategic thinking and regulatory mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional teams.
