Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner joins the APAC HR team to provide strategic HR partnership across multiple locations and business units, with a focus on One Cubic. Working with limited supervision, the role drives HR initiatives that support both short‑term and long‑term business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to design talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning and employee engagement strategies.
• Support resource planning, organizational design, and development of new positions, collaborating with compensation teams on grading and salary levels.
• Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, mediate disputes and guide managers on compliance with local regulations.
• Lead HR initiatives during periods of change such as acquisitions, restructurings, and reductions in force.
• Oversee internal transfers, long‑term absence management, occupational health matters, and the setup of HR services in new countries or legal entities.
• Maintain HRIS data and personnel records in line with company and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level HR professional with extensive experience in business partnering within the APAC region.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and APAC employment legislation and best practices.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and make independent, strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across multicultural environments.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency
