Senior Golang Engineer

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to join its Australia team. You will work on building server‑less solutions on AWS, driving innovation while supporting the company’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Go‑based micro‑services using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Implement complex workflows with AWS Step Functions and integrate data stores such as Amazon DynamoDB.
• Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Collaborate with architects to create scalable, secure serverless architectures.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring of AWS environments.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS serverless services (Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) programming.
• Solid understanding of API design, authentication, and integration patterns.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools, especially Terraform.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
