Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

Quillio is Australia’s leading AI‑powered legal platform, serving over 230 law firms across Australia and New Zealand. We are scaling rapidly and need a senior full‑stack developer to own features end‑to‑end, from backend architecture to polished front‑end delivery, impacting thousands of legal professionals daily.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full‑stack features using a Python/FastAPI backend and NuxtJS front‑end.
• Architect and deliver integrations with third‑party systems, handling two‑way data synchronization and document exchange.
• Create efficient MongoDB data models and queries for complex legal workflows.
• Develop and maintain payment and subscription infrastructure with Stripe.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to embed LLM‑powered features into the user experience.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production reliability.
• Write clean, well‑tested code with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architectural decision‑making.

Required profile

• 15+ years of professional software development experience across frontend and backend.
• Strong communication skills; able to explain technical decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Based in Australia or New Zealand with valid working rights.
