Senior Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who specializes in frontend development to join Auror’s product team. The role is based in New Zealand and can be fully remote for senior candidates. You will help build cutting‑edge tools that fight organised retail crime across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship high‑quality React and TypeScript code to production multiple times per day.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and backend engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Work on cloud‑native architecture hosted on Azure, leveraging modern services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and the technology stack.
• Support a coaching culture by mentoring peers and sharing knowledge.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in frontend engineering, preferably in a fast‑moving SaaS environment.
• Passion for using technology to address real‑world problems, especially retail crime prevention.
• Strong collaborative mindset and curiosity about AI‑driven enhancements.
