Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

Based in Wellington, this permanent senior leadership position will head the finance function across designated business areas. You will provide strategic and operational support to senior leaders, driving budgeting, forecasting and delivering actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team to ensure high‑performance delivery.
• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business planning, risk management and performance improvement.
• Support and advise on major projects and process optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence strategy and drive organisational impact.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., accounting or finance degree).
• Extensive senior finance and business partnering experience.
• Strong analytical and strategic capability.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.
