Senior Artworker – Insurance Document Specialist (12‑month contract)

About the role

The client, a leading financial services and insurance group in New Zealand, seeks a Contract Senior Artworker to own the technical execution, formatting, and brand‑alignment of a high‑volume insurance documentation project. You will work on long‑form policy wordings and interactive forms, ensuring absolute accuracy and consistent branding across multiple portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Document rollout management: format, update and brand‑align 600+ multi‑page, copy‑heavy insurance documents.
• Template & style‑sheet mastery: build and apply nested paragraph, character and object styles in Adobe InDesign for seamless layout transitions.
• Interactive form creation: design, update and optimise smart interactive PDFs using Adobe Acrobat.
• Project & stakeholder collaboration: work closely with project teams, legal/compliance stakeholders and brand managers to deliver accurate assets on time.
• Quality control & compliance: maintain strict version control, track text edits and ensure zero layout drift across high‑page‑count files.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience as a Senior Artworker delivering high‑volume, long‑form document rollouts under tight deadlines.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat with deep knowledge of advanced typography and typesetting.
• Elite experience working with complex InDesign style sheets to apply branding consistently across text‑heavy documents.
• Fast, accurate and highly organised approach, able to work independently while managing a massive volume of assets.
• Preferred background in financial services, insurance, corporate banking or design agencies/publishers handling complex financial reports or high‑page‑count publications.
