Senior Artworker – Contract (12 months) – Auckland

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services and insurance group in New Zealand, is seeking a Contract Senior Artworker to lead the technical execution of a high‑volume insurance documentation project. The role is based in Auckland CBD and offers a hybrid working model for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the rollout of 600+ multi‑page insurance documents, ensuring accurate formatting, version control and brand alignment.
• Create and maintain complex nested paragraph, character and object styles in Adobe InDesign across multiple brand portfolios.
• Design, update and optimise interactive PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat.
• Collaborate with project managers, legal/compliance teams and brand managers to deliver assets on schedule.
• Conduct rigorous quality checks to prevent layout drift and guarantee compliance with branding guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience as a Senior Artworker delivering large‑scale, text‑heavy document rollouts.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and manage a high volume of assets.
• Experience in financial services, insurance or design agencies handling complex reports is preferred.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat for interactive PDF creation.
