Security Specialist – Remote Contract (up to $90/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a Security Specialist to join our remote AI‑focused team on a short‑term contract. The role involves analysing code and data for security vulnerabilities, improving threat detection in AI models, and delivering practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and review content for security vulnerabilities with emphasis on pattern recognition and classification in an AI context.
• Apply systems‑programming expertise to enhance AI model threat detection and reasoning.
• Design, solve, and review challenging security problems with real‑world applicability.
• Work independently and asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts.
• Identify and mitigate potential security threats to improve AI model performance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of programming experience in low‑level languages such as C, C++ or Java.
• Familiarity with vulnerability classification frameworks like OWASP or CVEs.
• Solid understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, web security and common attack vectors.
• Strong attention to detail, pattern‑recognition ability and clear English communication.
• Based in the US, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand and able to pass an enhanced background check.
