Security Researcher – AI Trainer

About the role

Join DataAnnotation as a Security Researcher – AI Trainer, working remotely to help shape the next generation of AI‑driven cybersecurity tools. You will evaluate AI‑generated security content, solve technical security challenges, and provide feedback that directly improves how AI models understand real‑world threats.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive security techniques for accuracy and practical relevance.
• Design and solve security‑focused technical problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear technical explanations and security‑relevant code snippets.
• Provide actionable feedback that influences the development of AI security models.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related government/military cyber operations).
• Proficiency in coding and comfortable navigating/patching a codebase.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
