Security Automation Engineer - AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for experienced cybersecurity professionals to help advance AI development by evaluating and improving AI‑generated security content. The role is fully remote, flexible and operates on an independent‑contractor basis.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated cybersecurity content such as threat analyses, vulnerability assessments and offensive techniques for real‑world accuracy.
• Design and solve security‑focused technical problems that are used to train AI models.
• Write clear technical explanations and security‑relevant code to support model training.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI security systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or government/military cyber operations).
• Proficiency in coding and comfort navigating and patching a codebase.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
