SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling Consultant to lead implementation, configuration, and support of FICO modules for major clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high‑quality, cloud‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and roll out SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, Margin Analysis).
• Drive digital transformation initiatives and ensure solutions follow clean‑core and vanilla principles.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to lead workstreams and provide an integrated functional view.
• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into system configurations and functional specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate system integrity.
• Conduct end‑user training, produce user guides, and support post‑implementation issues.
• Provide ongoing system maintenance, issue resolution, and identify enhancement opportunities.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience implementing and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FICO).
• Deep knowledge of GL Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, and Margin Analysis.
• Experience drafting functional specifications and working closely with technical teams.
• Consulting background is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of SAP best practices, module integration, and performance optimisation.
• Preferably holds SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA certifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in Agile and waterfall environments and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
