Sales Representative – Medical Devices (RECON)

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Sales Representative to join its RECON team in New Zealand. The role focuses on promoting the RECON product range to surgeons in the operating theatre, maintaining existing accounts and generating new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support existing business and convert new opportunities by developing relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Work as part of the operating theatre team, providing product expertise during surgeries.
• Conduct in‑service training and workshops on Zimmer Biomet products.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new surgical techniques, clinical literature and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Finance and Operations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Science or a related discipline.
• Strong track record in medical device sales (orthopaedics, capital equipment or diagnostics).
• Operating theatre experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Passion for health and advancing medical technologies.
• Strategic thinking and ability to build relationships across all levels.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication and presentation abilities.
