Sales Representative – Automotive Parts

About the role

Join one of the biggest automotive aftermarket brands in New Zealand. Based at the Repco Queenstown branch, you will spend most of your week on the road, visiting trade customers, building relationships and growing the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to the existing customer base and expand those relationships.
• Work with the Area Manager to generate new business and increase market share.
• Maintain a structured call cycle and proactively address customer needs.
• Plan and execute sales activities to meet and exceed budgets.
• Liaise with in‑store Trade Specialists to ensure key clients receive comprehensive support.
• Promote a safety‑first culture, including safe driving and occasional lifting, bending and climbing.

Required profile

• Proven sales and account‑management experience with a track record of meeting KPIs.
• Strong interest or experience in the automotive industry.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
• High work ethic, self‑motivation and a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of automotive aftermarket parts and products.
• Mechanical understanding of the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication skills for discussing technical information.
