Sales and Service Manager

About the role

Farmers, a large, leading-edge fashion retailer, is looking for a Sales and Service Manager for its Hornby store. The manager reports directly to the Assistant Store Manager and leads a department, managing and coaching the Sales and Service Assistants within it. Most vacancies of this kind arise through internal promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Drive department sales and service and take full ownership of the team's performance
• Manage, coach, develop and motivate the team to exceed sales budgets
• Liaise with the visual merchandiser to make sure banners, windows and hot spots are in place on time before opening
• Promote a strong customer service culture across the department
• Implement and communicate promotional plans for upcoming events

Required profile

• Experience in a similar position, such as Store Manager of a small store or Department Manager of a medium to large store
• Strong sales and service coaching experience
• Exceptional customer focus
• Entitlement to work in New Zealand, with proof provided during selection
