Sales & Account Manager – Higher Education

About the role

TechnologyOne is seeking a Sales & Account Manager to lead a portfolio of higher‑education customers across New Zealand. You will combine relationship management with commercial ownership, ensuring client retention while driving growth of the SaaS product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage an established portfolio of higher‑education institutions.
• Drive renewals, retention and sustainable account growth.
• Identify, develop and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Lead commercial conversations, including account planning, contract negotiations and pipeline management.
• Build multi‑level relationships with IT, operations, finance and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Act as the primary partner to ensure customers realise continuous value from the solution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, customer success or solution sales within SaaS or technology environments.
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex higher‑education or enterprise accounts with revenue accountability.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to lead renewal, pricing and contract discussions.
• Ability to identify growth opportunities and construct credible upsell pathways.
• Excellent pipeline discipline and forecasting capability.
