Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

Join a luxury hotel team dedicated to delivering heartfelt care and sanctuary for guests. As a Room Attendant you will provide high‑standard cleaning and service for upscale rooms, ensuring every stay feels exceptional.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors to 5‑star standards.
• Replenish guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms according to room type.
• Report and handle lost property following established procedures.
• Process guest laundry in line with hotel policy.
• Use, maintain and report any defective cleaning equipment.
• Conduct regular stocktaking of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Secure keys and guest rooms at all times, adhering to security protocols.
• Apply health‑and‑safety guidelines for cleaning agents and equipment.
• Assist guests with information or service requests and refer complex issues to a supervisor.
• Provide turn‑down service, clean balconies, railings, carpets, de‑scale shower heads and perform general upkeep of bathrooms and bedrooms.
• Support colleagues with extra beds, bed boards and other housekeeping tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a 5‑star or luxury hotel environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
• Team player with a good level of fitness for physically demanding duties.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Self‑motivated, capable of working autonomously when required.
