Retail Team Leader – Westaways

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Team Leader to support the day‑to‑day operations of our Walter Peak Retail Store and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will act as the primary point of contact for the team when the Manager is away and collaborate with the Food & Beverage team when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and maintain high presentation standards.
• Lead and guide Retail Assistants, covering the team in the Manager’s absence.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and task planning for new staff.
• Process sales accurately, handle cash, and manage inventory and stocktakes.
• Promote RealNZ products and experiences, working toward sales targets.
• Provide outstanding guest service and respond to experience‑related queries.
• Coordinate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Previous retail and sales experience.
• Strong guest service, communication, and time‑management abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask with initiative.

• Inventory management system knowledge
