Retail Team Leader – Tauranga

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is looking for a confident and passionate Team Leader to join the Tauranga Crossing store for 32 hours per week on a rotating roster. You will guide and inspire a retail team to exceed sales targets while creating a welcoming, vibrant shopping experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative team environment, coach, train and mentor staff, and keep them informed with clear communication.
• Maintain impeccable shop‑floor standards, oversee daily opening and closing duties, and lead visual‑merchandising initiatives.
• Prioritise health and safety for both team members and customers.
• Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, identifying growth opportunities for individuals.
• Set and uphold exceptional customer‑service standards, resolve concerns promptly, and represent the Mountain Warehouse brand professionally.
• Build connections within the local community to enhance the store’s welcoming atmosphere.
