About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Team Leader to drive performance and create a vibrant shopping experience in its Riccarton store. You will lead a dynamic team, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the brand’s high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative team environment, coaching and mentoring staff to achieve shared goals.
• Maintain impeccable shop‑floor standards, including stock presentation, ticketing, and visual merchandising.
• Oversee daily store operations, from opening to closing, ensuring smooth workflows and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand positively and build connections within the local community.

• Experienced across retail functions, including stock control and visual merchandising.
