About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to drive performance and deliver an exceptional shopping experience at its Christchurch store. You will lead a dynamic retail team, ensuring high standards of customer service, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative team environment, providing coaching, training and clear communication.
• Maintain shop floor standards, including stock presentation, ticketing and daily organization.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth store operations.
• Lead visual merchandising initiatives to create an inviting store layout.
• Prioritise health and safety for staff and customers.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand positively within the local community.
