About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to drive performance and deliver an exceptional shopping experience at our Blenheim store. You will lead a dynamic retail team, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the brand’s high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative team environment, coaching and mentoring staff to achieve shared goals.
• Maintain impeccable shop‑floor standards, including stock presentation, ticketing, and visual merchandising.
• Oversee daily store operations, opening and closing duties, and health & safety compliance.
• Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring memorable experiences.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand positively within the local community.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a senior casual, key holder, 3IC, or supervisor in a high‑volume retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver strong sales results.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with a ‘Make it Happen’ mindset.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for coaching others.
• Genuine enthusiasm for customer experience and the product range.

Required skills

• Operational knowledge of stock management and visual merchandising.
