Restaurant Manager – Oamaru

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our KFC outlet in Oamaru. You will be responsible for delivering the iconic KFC experience that New Zealanders love, while ensuring smooth daily operations and a high‑standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain a motivated team.
• Control inventory, ordering, and waste to achieve cost targets.
• Monitor sales, service metrics and implement actions to improve profitability.
• Ensure health, safety and food hygiene regulations are consistently met.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a fast‑food or restaurant operation.
• Ability to work legally in New Zealand and start immediately.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering quality service.
