Remote Social Media Manager (Entry Level) – Contract

About the role

This remote position supports a boutique hotel in the Braga region of Portugal by building a strong digital presence. You will design and execute social media campaigns that attract guests attending local events and celebrations, positioning the hotel as the preferred accommodation choice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch comprehensive social media marketing campaigns for the hospitality and events sector.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
• Write persuasive ad copy and edit advertisements to maximise performance.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign metrics to drive growth in engagement and bookings.
• Collaborate with hotel management to align content with brand positioning and seasonal promotions.
• Produce periodic posts highlighting the hotel’s unique features, guest experiences, and proximity to event venues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media campaigns for hospitality, travel, or event‑focused businesses.
• Advanced proficiency with Meta platforms, including ad management and analytics tools.
• Strong copywriting ability with a track record of measurable audience growth and lead generation.
• Experience using content planning and scheduling tools, plus basic image/video editing.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work remotely with flexible hours.
• Preferably based in Portugal or familiar with the local market.
