About the role

Join Ryman’s supportive nursing team at the Kiri Te Kanawa Retirement Village in Gisborne. As a full‑time Registered Nurse you will deliver compassionate, high‑quality care to our residents while enjoying a predictable fixed roster that supports work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care that meets the standards of “good enough for mum and dad”.
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with residents and their families.
• Assess residents, create and regularly review individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments, medications and ongoing support.
• Utilise Ryman’s purpose‑built care app (myRyman) for documentation and communication.
• Support the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators in daily operations.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for Registered Nurses.
• Reliable, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to share knowledge and work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Kindness, compassion and a drive to deliver high‑quality resident care.
• New Zealand work rights (overseas candidates must hold appropriate rights).

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myRyman care application for resident documentation.
