Registered Nurse – Full‑Time, Blenheim

About the role

Waterlea Lifecare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its 61‑bed care home in Blenheim. This permanent, full‑time position offers a variety of shift options (AM, PM, nights, weekends) and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents living with age‑related conditions and dementia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated caregivers to deliver high‑quality care.
• Develop, implement and monitor individualized care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand (or equivalent overseas qualification).
• Hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults and a collaborative team spirit.
