Registered Nurse (Full Time)

About the role

Rosewood Lifecare is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its 64‑bed care home in North Linwood, Christchurch. The role is permanent (32+ hours per week) with flexible AM, PM and weekend shifts, offering a supportive environment where each day brings new challenges and rewards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated caregivers to deliver high‑quality care.
• Develop, monitor and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and ensure accurate documentation.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or abroad.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for helping people and a collaborative team spirit.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and continuous improvement.
