Registered Nurse – Full-Time, Christchurch

About the role

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Harewood Road facility in Papanui, Christchurch on a permanent full‑time basis. The role involves delivering hospital‑standard care to aged‑care residents, supporting both clinical and caregiving teams, and fostering a warm, patient‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to ensure high‑quality resident care.
• Develop, implement and monitor individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Nurse in New Zealand (or overseas) with a valid APC.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for helping people and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and continuous improvement.
