Regional Sales Manager – Construction & Industrial Products

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead our construction and industrial product sales across the Lower North Island of New Zealand. You will work directly with contractors, project managers, and site teams, delivering practical solutions and growing our customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Grow sales within an established territory covering Wellington, Kapiti, Wairarapa, Manawatū, Whanganui, Hawke's Bay and Taranaki.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, asset owners and industrial clients.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct site visits and project measure‑ups.
• Prepare quotations, follow opportunities through to close and ensure successful project delivery with operational teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline.
• Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, account management or business development within construction, civil, industrial or related sectors.
• NZ working rights and prior experience working in New Zealand.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and genuine enjoyment of meeting people.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to spot opportunities.
• Practical mindset and confidence working on construction and industrial sites.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Full driver’s licence.
