Regional Operations Manager – North Auckland & Northland

About the role

Lumino The Dentists, New Zealand's largest dental network, is seeking a dynamic Regional Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of practices across North Auckland and Northland. You will drive operational excellence, support practice leaders, and ensure outstanding patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support multiple dental practices to achieve operational, commercial, and clinical goals.
• Partner with Practice Managers and clinical teams to build high‑performing, customer‑focused environments.
• Coach, mentor and develop leaders, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to enhance patient experience, efficiency and financial performance.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, People & Culture, Marketing, Finance and Clinical teams to align regional initiatives.
• Drive workforce planning, practice performance and delivery of national projects.
• Promote a positive culture that reflects Lumino’s values.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑site operations in healthcare, dental, retail, hospitality or similar customer‑focused sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret performance data.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised, able to balance competing priorities while maintaining focus on patient care.
• Collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset with passion for developing people.
