Receptionist – Part Time

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, professional receptionist to join our Wanaka dental practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm welcome and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients in person and over the phone with a professional approach
• Manage appointment bookings, confirmations and follow‑ups
• Handle patient enquiries via phone and email
• Process payments and manage invoicing and banking tasks
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform general admin duties
• Liaise with external organisations for claims, funding and patient documentation
• Support the clinical team to ensure seamless, high‑quality care

Required profile

• Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment and maintain a calm, friendly demeanor
• Team‑focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues
